The creation of Special Abilities Network began when Founder and CEO Kristin Carleton's son, Eli, was diagnosed with agenesis of the corpus callosum at 19 weeks pregnant. Realizing Eli would need lifelong support, she started a conversation that led to to the creation of Special Abilities Network
The Special Abilities Network provides lifelong support, including case management, clinical, professional, community, and financial support, for exceptional families. Co-Founder Dr. Kathy Matthews, a mother of an exceptional child, brings over 20 years of experience with exceptional families to the village. The team combines expertise in private case management, clinical services, financial planning, and partnerships to create a holistic and comprehensive model for lifespan planning.
